Leszek est né en 1950 dans une famille d'artistes en Pologne. Son grand grand oncle, Leon Wyczolkowski (1825-1936), était un peintre et un artiste polonais renommés de graphisme, marié à la jeune Polonaise (Mloda Poiska) et à un mouvement artistique important à la fin du 19ème et 20ème siècle.
Leszek Wyczolkowski a reçu sa première formation artistique à un jeune âge jeune provenant de son père. Son enseignement conventionnel a été obtenu à l'académie des arts à Varsovie - en Pologne (1975-1977).
Après avoir immigré au Canada en 1978, Leszek a continué son éducation, recevant un diplôme avec honneurs à l'université d'Art de l'Ontario(1980-1982). Il a voyagé en l'Asie, au Canada, en France, en Grande-Bretagne, en Grèce, en Italie, au Japon, dans les Pays Bas, en Pologne, en Suède et aux Etats-Unis. Les oeuvres de Leszek Wyczolkowski apparaissent dans les collections de musées, de corporation, publiques et privées en Autriche, au Brésil, au Canada, en France, en en Allemagne, en Grande-Bretagne, en Grèce, en Hongrie, en Italie, en Pologne, en Suède et aux Etats-Unis.
